Stupid Cold...

I have succeeded in giving my cold to my husband, so we can be miserable together! (sigh) With his cold he has managed to work the entire day, and do odd jobs around the house. I on the other hand have been dosing myself with copious amounts of Nyquil. I believe I am a bit of an underachiever. I have slept so much today. Nyquil has definitely been my friend. My nose, head, chest, and throat cheer when I take it, even if my taste buds are screaming!

Thanks to my sister-in-law Sarah for entertaining Katie!

I finally caught up with your blog, Theresa, and wept again with you.
I remember when I miscarried and saw the tiny fetus in the toilet. Like you, I didn't know what to do. It seemed crass to just flush it down, but I was sure I didn't know what else to do. So down it went, but I will never forget how I felt afterwards. My second miscarriage was removed in the doctor's office, a Catholic man who said he would baptize the little one. Although I know it didn't make any difference as to where the baby went in the afterlife (where else but to heaven for an innocent one?), it make me feel better.
Now, as to your "patient comment," you may sometimes be a pain in the ass, but you're certainly not a psychotic pain in the ass. Does this help?
Anyway, I love you and have been praying for you both. It was good to see you even if the circumstances were not the best, and I'll bet our deconstruction of Vince kept your mind off your troubles.
Don't forget that I firmly believe we now have a St. Philip in heaven. I'm praying to him and hope you'll consider it too.
God bless you.
Your loving mother-in-law

It was fun to host Katie -- I am super excited to do it again soon! (please tell Katie I hope her foot has recovered from our very long walk through the park) Hope your cold gets better soon.

I am just checking here...but is your mother-in-law allowed to call you a pain in the ass?

I know your spouse is, and your friends are....Sorry Kathy, I am not sure that this falls in your scope of practice.

I will have to check with the experts to see if I am correct...Re, Marlo, Ilan...you are my experts, what do you think?
